1. 人間を中心に据えた設計思想のこと。

製品やサービスを開発する際に、実際にそれを利用する人間のニーズ、欲求、行動パターンなどを深く理解し、それらを設計の中心に据える考え方や手法のこと。ユーザーエクスペリエンス（UX）の向上を目指す上で重要な概念です。
